Oxford United are the winners of the Johnstone`s Paint Pot Challenge.
This season saw a new competition, which ran alongside the main Johnstone`s Paint Trophy. Team had to select 10 representatives from their playing squad and management to attempt to chip a ball from the angle of the penalty area into a giant inflatable paint pot placed on the six-yard line.
The U’s racked up 32 points which all League 1 and League 2 clubs to part in. Second place went to Crewe Alexandra and Coventry City, who were tied on 25 points.
Oxford`s reward for finishing in top spot is £2,000 of Johnstone`s paint.
It’s a timely win for the U’s as the club have announced a supporters bar for season ticket holders for 13/14 season. The club have also announce it will be used also in the changing rooms at the training ground.
The Paint and specialist advice will be supplied by staff of Johnstone`s Paint Decorating Centre at the Cowley Business Centre on Watlington Road.
