Players in talks with Oxford United

Chris Wilder and OUFC are in discussions with a couple of players ahead of preseason.

So far signed up for next season are goalkeepers Ryan Clarke, Wayne Brown & Max Crocombe. Defenders Damian Batt, Tony Capaldi, Liam Davis, Jake Wright, Harry Worley, Michael Duberry. Midfield players Andy Whing, Simon Heslop, Peter Leven, Adam Chapman. Forwards James Constable, Tommy Craddock, Jon-Paul Pittman, Sean Rigg, Alfie Potter, Deane Smalley & Tyrone Marsh.

So 20 players. Looking at the above squad the team appear short of two midfield players and a right back.

Chris told the Oxford Mail: “We have a couple of offers in there and we`re just finding out if we can get them accepted.



It`s a waiting game, hopefully in the next week or so we would like to get both players in for pre-season training.



It`s come to the stage where they have to make decisions.”
