Talbot Takes First Half Blame

Oxford were that bad in the first half of the game at Orient that manager Brian Talbot contemplated substitutions after only 20 minutes.

Taking the blame for not reacting earlier in the one nil defeat, Talbot said:

‘The manager made a mistake. He should have made changes after 20 minutes.

‘We were disappointing for our lack of battling qualities and as a team. So I include myself in that and the first half was not acceptable. The second half was much better.’
