Oxford United will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games when the U’s make the short trip to Wycombe.

Des Buckingham has overseen draws against Portsmouth, Reading and Blackpool before a win over Wigan on Tuesday night.

As for Wycombe, they lost at Bolton during the week but that was a first defeat in five in all competitions. The Chairboys are also unbeaten in their last seven matches at Adams Park.

Joe Bennett was the latest absentee to make a return on Tuesday night, albeit for the final minute. Will Goodwin was rested but should be available for the trip to Wycombe. Fin Stevens and Oisin Smyth are the only other two short-term absentees.

Brandon Hanlon is out for the season but the Chairboys will be hoping to welcome back Josh Scowen and Chris Forino from injury.

Luke Leahy has been the danger man this season, with the 31-year-old netting nine times and adding eight assists. Dale Taylor has seven, Sam Vokes is on five while Oxford-born Garath McClearly has four.

The two teams played out a 2-2 draw when they met earlier this season. The U’s are without a win in any of the last six meetings, with the Chairboys winning four. Oxford’s last league win at Adams Park came in 2015.

Predicted line-up: Jamie Cumming, Greg Leigh, Ciaron Brown, Elliott Moore, Sam Long, Marcus McGuane, Cameron Brannagan, Tyler Goodrham, Ruben Rodrigues, Tyler Burey, Mark Harris.

Prediction: Wycombe Wanderers 0-1 Oxford United
