Hall, who missed most of last season after recovering from knee surgery, seems to be fine, and U’s Boss, Karl Robinson, told the Oxford Mail that his dismissal from the starting line-up was as a precaution.
He said: “After the tackle he got some nerve pain. The knee is fine, so there’s no worry with it. We know Hally’s not going to start the season, so it’s about him being fit enough for 30 minutes and his pre-season is tailored around him.”
Meanwhile new U’s signing Fosu picked up a knock in the 0-2 win at Thame United. The former Charlton man, who started as a number ten behind Gavin Whyte, looked lively, but was substituted after it was feared he may have damaged his hamstring.
But the Oxford Mail later confirmed that it was just down to tightness, and the winger could feature this Saturday.
