Mansfield Town are believed to be negotiating a deal to sign Adam Chapman after their promotion to npower league 2.

Adam moved on loan to Mansfield in March this year with the stags in a promotion race in the Blue Square Premiership.

Chappers helped the Stags win the division playing in 11 matches and scoring 4 goals.

With the midfielder still under contract with the U’s so a fee is likely to involved.
