Wilder off to Coventry

Bookmakers have made Oxford United’s manager favourite to take over the vacancy at Npower League 1 club Coventry City.

Over the weekend rumours were being discussed amongst fans forums from both clubs that Chris Wilder was the man to be unveiled as the successor to Andy Thorn who was sacked in August.

With a year to run on his contract I suspect Oxford United would seek compensation for the manager who got them promoted back into the football league in 2010. Every year since his arrival Chris has seen his team improve in league placing at the end of each season.
