ROB Duffy is furious that Aldershot defender Rhys Day was not sent off during Oxford’s 1-1 draw at the Rec on Saturday.

The U’s top scorer was substituted early in the first half after suffering blurred vision after an incident with Day.

Duffy claims that the Shot’s defender poked him in the eye and should have been sent off for the incident. Duffy told the Oxford Mail:

‘We were going for a challenge and I fell to the ground. He stamped on me twice and as I was trying to get up, he put his thumb in my eye.

‘It wasn’t very nice. I had double vision and couldn’t see properly after getting the thumb in the eye.’
