Hall Set for Forest Green Loan Move

|

Oxford United midfielder Rob Hall looks set to join Forest Green Rovers on loan, as reported by the Football Insider.

The 26-year-old has made 21 appearances for an injury-hit U’s squad this season but has only started three games.

That said, it’s a decent return for the former West Ham United man, who had made just 21 appearances in the previous two seasons.

Injury has kept the winger sidelined for large parts of his time at the club, but now fully recovered, Hall is looking for regular football and that’s something the promotion-chasing U’s can’t guarantee.

Forest Green would be a good destination for Hall. Despite dropping out of the playoffs in recent weeks, Mark Cooper’s side are in the hunt for promotion to the third tier of English football for the first time in their history.

For Oxford, it always looked likely that Hall would be one player to depart after Karl Robinson brought in four new faces at the start of the month, two of which are wingers.
