Injury woes will not go away will 2013 be better?

Well I’m sure most Oxford fans and staff will wave 2012 away hoping that 2013 bring us a year with no or very little injuries to players.

This week we learnt Jon-Paul Pittman has had to go for an operation due to a dislocated shoulder.

JP’s shoulder popped out in the FA Cup match in Lancashire against Accrington Stanley. The U’s had kept their fingers crossed that with a little treatment he would be back up and running within a few weeks.

But the shoulder popped out again meaning an operation is needed which will take around 12 weeks until we see him in a yellows shirt again.
