Oxford United are one of several Football League clubs linked with Northern Ireland U21 international, Terry Devlin, according to Neil Allen.
The 19-year-old looks set to depart Glentoran in the Northern Ireland Premiership, with the U’s, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Stoke City and Premier League outfit Crystal Palace all showing interest.
The box-to-box central midfielder netted twice in 32 appearances as Glentoran finished third in the Northern Ireland Premiership last season.
The “fans’ favourite” looks set to depart with the club accepting they can no longer keep hold of the youngster amid the interest from overseas.
The U’s have already brought in attacker Ruben Rodrigues while defender Jordan Thorniley is also linked with a return following his release from Blackpool at the end of the season.
Liam Manning will be on the lookout for another central midfielder, with Cameron Brannagan and Marcus McGuane the likely starters ahead of Oisin Smyth.
