Oxford United have announced their retained list ahead of next season.
Anthony Forde and club captain John Mousinho have both been offered new deals, while there is no further news regarding Josh Ruffels’ contract.
Rob Hall and Dylan Asonganyi are the two senior players to be released. Hall, who joined the club in 2016, has been told by U’s boss Karl Robinson that a return could be a possibility.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Robinson said: “Hally is a difficult decision. We had a very good conversation and he has been an outstanding servant to the club but we recognise that he needs to be playing regular first-team football.
“I am sure another club will snap him up but if not then we will be monitoring the situation closely.”
Leon Chambers-Parillon has been offered a professional deal. The midfielder made five appearances for the U’s this season and made an assist on his debut against Walsall. Kyran Lofthouse, who has impressed on loan at Woking, has also been offered a new deal, while options for Michael Elechi and Slavi Spasov have been activated.
Nico Jones, who many tipped to make a breakthrough into the senior side after featuring twice in the 2018/19 season, has been released, along with Fabio Lopes, Fabio Sole and Jack Stevens (striker).
