Smith urges consistancy

JIM Smith has urged his Oxford United side to be relentless in their chase to win the Nationwide Conference.

The Bald Eagle has been surprised by the fine form show by leaders Dagenham & Redbridge and believes that his side must keep winning to put pressure on the Daggers. Smith told the Oxford Mail:

‘It’s quite a big gap and there’s no room for error. To get any pressure on Dagenham we have to keep winning.

‘Every game is pressure. We can’t afford to lose, or in some cases draw, from the fact that Dagenham are going so well.’

Daggers boss John Still is delighted with his side`s return of 9 points from three games. Still said:

‘At the start of those three games some people would have said it was possible for us to lose all three. To win all three was a fantastic achievement.’
