The new JP at Oxford United?

We have JP Pittman but we may be looking to sign JP Smith. That’s Jonathan Peter Smith the 6ft 3 central midfield player from Swindon Town.

Sources down the road at the wrong end of the A420 have us believe that Jonathan Smith has held talks with Chris Wilder and Oxford United.

Last year £30,000 was paid to tempt Smith away from York City into the football league. He played in 48 matches last season scoring in 3 matches.
