Anaclet hails U’s

EDDIE Anaclet believes Oxford United are back to their best after recorind back to back wins in the Nationwide Conference.

The 3-1 victory over Tamworth gave the U’s the first double of the season and Anaclet was on the score sheet during their latest win. He feels that the U’s have turned the corner and are back to their early season form. Anaclet told the Oxford Mail:

‘It was more like our performances of old, earlier in the season when we went ahead early on and then relied on our defence to get us through.

‘It was unfortunate that we conceded a goal, but then we showed that we were on form by bouncing back and finishing it off.

‘You could have pulled the man of the match out of the hat, everyone played well and everyone was on top of their game.

‘Three points was the most important thing, but to score as well made it a very good day for me.’
