“I’m expecting one more in this week” – Robinson on Transfers

|

Oxford United manager Karl Robinson has admitted that he is looking to bring at least another three new faces through the doors during this transfer window.

Nathan Holland and Liam Kelly both joined the club yesterday from West Ham United and Feyenoord respectively, with the midfield duo both arriving on loan until the end of the season.

But Robinson, who remains on the hunt for a couple of full-backs, one more midfielder and a forward, believes his squad would have grown by the time the window closes.

He told the Oxford Mail: “I’m expecting one more in this week. This is not us done, nowhere near.

“We’re in the hunt for a right-back and a left-back, plus a winger/midfield player or maybe one who can play up front as well.

“We’re in the hunt and working hard.”

One defender the U’s have been linked with is Kilmarnock man Stephen O’Donnell, but nothing is set in stone with that move as of yet.
